Maybe I could also avoid corruption by only using save states for this game? And never saving to the memory card? I think it probably autosaves though.Game description: Open the next chapter in world of Soul Calibur. Within my pcsx2 folder, I have a folder named memcards and there are 2 files named Mcd001.ps2 and Mcd002.ps2, so I'm pretty sure I'm just using the default memory card saving system. I think there's an alternate folder save system but I don't know if I am using that system or not. Would that be enough? I don't want to lose the save files on all my other games. I'd eject the other two memory cards, and insert the SC3 card. So from what I can I tell, I would just make a new memory card, via the memory card config menu. What I want to do is make a separate memory card for Soul Calibur 3, that way it can't corrupt any other game saves. if anyone is familiar with the memory card system? ![]() But, in order to avoid it, I just wanted to confirm the process. It was on the actual PS2, so I'm not sure if it would still occur on the pscx2 or not. So from what I understand, there's a glitch with this game, that can potentially corrupt the whole memory card. ![]()
